HIGHLIGHTS

The Telluride Nordic Association maintains the winter trail system here.

The trail starts from the forest service maintenance station and extends to the Galloping Goose trail system that continues to Trout Lake and beyond.

On a sunny day after a fresh snow, the trail becomes a winter wonderland, passing over a little creek and continuing through the Priest Lake campground.
